Lacey, WA − Unigen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a leading research and development company of proprietary, biologically active plant-derived ingredients, announced the appointment of Douglas Lynch as Vice President Sales and Marketing.

Lynch, who previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing at New Jersey-based Naturally Scientific, Inc. has over 12 years extensive experience in domestic and international markets for pharmaceutical, nutritional, food and cosmetic ingredient sales, product development and marketing. Lynch has partnered with Fortune 500 companies to acquire market share at drug, food, mass and specialty channels and is knowledgeable in multiple delivery systems in the business-to-business and business-to-retail channels with accounts such as GNC, Nature's Bounty, Twinlab, Estee Lauder, Origins, Wal-Mart/Sam's Club, Amazon.com and all the major drug chains.
