Lacey, WA − Unigen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., leading research and development company of proprietary, biologically active plant-derived ingredients, named company veteran Regan D. Miles as Chief Executive Officer. Miles, who joined Unigen in April, 2002 was named President and Chief Operating Officer in August, 2005.

Mr. Miles is a 25-year veteran in the dietary supplement and nutraceutical industries, having held leadership positions in companies with significant influence and marketshare. Prior to joining Unigen, he worked as General Manager for Integrative Therapeutics, a division of Enzymatic Therapy, Inc. He also held senior-level positions with Alpine Health Industries (now Metabolife), Pharmanex, Inc. and Nature's Way.
